Huge Accident

I was standing on the corner of the streets neptune and church, facing towards a large intersection a block away.  The traffic light was red, and vehicles were backed up all the way to where I was standing.  The light turns green, and the cars start to turn, when a semi truck turning left smashes into a yellow sports car on the road he was turning onto.  The truck had turned into the oncoming lane, but everyone else was as well, and soon accidents had backed up to where I was standing just like the cars had been before the light turned.  The semi that had been the first to crash was so badly damaged that the trailer it was towing had lost its wheels and was lying flat on the ground, and the concrete tubes it was carrying were smashed into tiny pieces.  I'm standing in the street now, and as I turn and walk towards my house I walk through the remains of another semi.

Hi there Wolvendeer.

If Huge Accident were my dream:

I would consider the significance of the names 'Neptune' and 'Church'. Is there any? The names are interesting - Neptune, a planet in the sky, and the Church - I guess it depends on what it means to you personally. The key for me, would be that I'm there on the intersection when the accident occurs.

I would also wonder about the nature of the truck (industrial, carrying equipment/machinery/products from place to place) and it's accident with a sports car (something you'd be more likely to drive for pleasure). On the one hand there's the theme of productivity, on the other pleasure.

Perhaps my dream is hinting at a need for balance of the two.

I could definitely use a balance between those two, and perhaps a bit more of the former.  As for the street names, that's an actual intersection near my house.

Cool. I wish you the best in your productivity - in whatever form it may take :)

I recognised they were the actual street names, nevertheless with my own dreams, I still tend to take these things into consideration. After all, a dream could take place on the intersection of any two streets - why these two in particular?

I find that locational element of dreams a fascinating thing to open up. For example, it may not be the names that are significant, but perhaps the memories or feeling associated with that place..

Ahh, that's a very good piece of insight!  Reminds me of a book I read that said the magickal way of thinking was that everything was significant in some way, and I reckon that should be applied to dreams just the same.

Neptune would have been 26 degrees Aquarius retrograde at the time of this dream.  I wonder if you saw my church dream where I had my tarot table set up?

oh, I should have added, that I did an important tarot reading about balancing the male and female energies, from the past sacrifices of the feminine, Goddess, by the patriarchy, and how such karma has kept men locked in anger, war, and rage.  Neptune also symbolizes dreams.

With so many changes occuring in the last few weeks, I may wonder is caution is being represented here as well.

Great insights here.
