Garage Sale dream

Eric and I are having a garage sale. Josh and Cassie invite us to go down to this cabin by the creek. We wait until later afternoon, and go down to the creek.

When we return the house is ransacked. They took our couch, table, chairs, etc. They even took our cats. I blame the landlord and call him up. I tell him “I can give you the rent money now, just bring our stuff back.”

He claims not to have it.

I start seeing our cats sneak out from the back bedroom. I realize that people came for the yard sale and we forgot to lock up. They stole our stuff, probably thinking it was free. Finally I see Cookie, our orange tabby. I am so happy to see him. EOD

Josh is the grandson of our landlord who is a woman. The creek scene is from my childhood, where I use to hang out. I called it Angel Creek.
