Flat tire dream
In my dream, the car has a flat. I almost spin out of control. I remember lossing control as the tire burst, and spinning, the back end taking over and my trying to control the front end by the steering wheel. It was like being on ice.
The next thing I remember is a bunch of homeless men appeared, acting as if they were trying to help me. I caught on trying to steal the remote to my vcr. (there was an apparent reality test/lucid trigger I missed). I caught another one going through my billfold and trying to duplicate my credit card. By the time I caught him, I saw the credit card was for purchasing psychic readings, so I wasn't as offended, and actually thought it was a cool idea. The other homeless man was messing with my cell phone, and I couldn't get it to work, kept getting a voice recording about my expenses and how much I owed. EOD.

Unsure if I can add anything to help, really enjoy reading your dream.
Although, if this may have been something I dreamed of, may look at the four main items of interest: tire, in which could be a play of words or not; vcr remote, in which seems like something from my past as now we are into dvd's and computer chips for recording motion images and sounds; credit card, in which we use our good credit instead of cash (mostly for security and conveniance); cell phone, comunications.

If Flat Tire were my dream:
I would have to consider where things in my life are feeling "flat" right now.
It's interesting that the homeless men appear as helpers. Perhaps in a strange way, they bring a message of a need to step away from my comfort zone - what's traditional, what I'm used to.
I would want to go into the feeling a little deeper - why didn't I trust them? For me, it might depend on what surfaced there..
