Apparently, a policy change tells that foreign XBox Live users must pass an english-speaking test in order to use it. (Live is the online service for the XBox 360 videogame) Since it doesn't work quite well out of USA, Canada and Europe, we were supposed to pass the test if we wanted to use it. I had an appointment for the test, and now was currently sitting in front of a computer, waiting for my turn. I enter this chat room and it quickly starts. Though I'm looking at a chat room screen, I can somehow see the woman I'm talking to as I hear her. She's a black, fat woman in her thirties with dreadlocks. She has a thick ethnic accent.

She instructs me to say a few words and sentences, and as she speaks they appear on the screen, with little arrows pointing out the ideal tone changes. When I try to say the things I'm asked to, though, the connection bugs up and either echos what she says or I end up saying things like "WHAT?" because I couldn't hear her. Still, the program seems to think my answers are all right! She goes on for the 10 answers, finally saying, at the end, that I had gotten 100% on the test. She seemed really impressed.
