Among the tasks, the students had to help the assistants untangle long white strings that were tied to pieces of wood. The strings turned out to be wet noodles, which would be eaten once untangled. Other activities included some kind of simple drawing. A. would pace around the room giving out instructions, and after each group had completed part of the activities, he'd pick someone who he thought did the best work and put this crown on their heads, proclaiming loudly his decision. I thought to myself that he just came up with all that activity the day prior, without giving it much thought.
