I'm in this crowded place. Both
the inside and the outside of a house are full of people organizing
themselves in groups. I'm chatting and walking around, so I end up being
left out of my friend's group. I meet The Professor (a character from
the Trinity Blood manga series) walking around the groups, helping
people organize their teams. He leads me to an important-looking short
man in a white sultan suit and hat. I realize that I'm a warrior - this
man was an important foreign dignitary, and we were all heading into
battle. Being in his group meant fighting alongside valorous warriors,
but most importantly, protecting someone really important. I get nervous
and don't express really well my gratefulness. For a moment, they think
I am mocking them, until they realize it was quite the opposite.
We head out to battle! Everything is now a turn-based strategy game I'm
watching from afar. I can only control myself as a character. We're
fighting along a mountainside. A snake-like creature poisons me and I
fall to the ground, paralyzed. It feels humiliating, and I have to wait a
few turns until someone helps me. I join a larger group. They position
themselves in a square area with special markings. That makes a large
group of enemies appear. They attack me and nearly make me faint (or
die?), as my HP drops dramatically. It is our turn, though, and my group
wipes most of them easily. I cast an ice spell on a +-shaped area. The
enemy tries to flee but I kill it. I finally realize that I was playing
my character wrong all this time - I was actually a support character,
so attack skills and spells weren't my specialty.
