I'm walking up a sloped street. It is nighttime, or at least it's a dark street. There are a lot of people here, in what seems to be an Anime convention. There's a shop taking half of the space on the street, and since it was so crowded, I decide to enter it and use it to avoid the people on the other path. As I'm walking through it (it looks like the booths/stands that Comix Bookshop sets up in conventions), a girl approaches me. She's a cute girl around my age, with curly hair, and she wore a t-shirt with the shop's colors and logo. She asks if there's anything I need help with, and I tell her I was just avoiding the crowd. She asks me not to use the shop to do it, since because it was pretty much open to the whole street, it'd avoid them security problems if the only people in the shop were actual clients. She was pretty nice about the whole thing, so it was ok.

I tell her that fine, I'd take care, but soon we start chatting about mangas. She starts on about Negima! (a fantasy/action/romantic comedy series by Ken Akamatsu), though for some reason she called it something else (Apparently Negi and a French word/name after it). I know the series and actually read it, but for a second she doubted it, so I vaguely described some things about it until she seemed satisfied. We continued to flirt and talk about it, and she even mentioned her plans of creating a replica staff based on the main character's one (strangely, she had a strange name for the staff. I did recognize it, but there's no name IRL). At some point she looks down and realizes my legs and arms are hurt - I have little scrapes and cuts - and asks me how I got those.

I start telling her about how I spent 5 days stuck in a canyon while climbing. She obviously didn't believe me and started to back away, apparently regretting giving me attention to even start with. I was about to tell her about how I even lost two fingers on the ordeal when I look down at my hand and realize I hadn't. It dawns on me that I was actually thinking about the movie 127 Hours, and that it didn't happen to me (in fact, the fingers thing wasn't exactly what happened to the character in the movie). The girl is gone and I'm feeling stupid - how could I even think that had happened to me?
