Turns out I'm watching the NeverEnding Story. It's been years (IRL) since I last watched the movie, and in fact there's a lot of stuff in in that I didn't seem to remember. For now, it had been following for quite a while the story of this blond girl and her boyfriend/friend, all of which had these hairdos from the 80's (which, in a way, makes sense). It was fun and all, but I was wondering when Bastian or Atreyu would show up, like I remembered. It had been over an hour in the movie and they still didn't show up. The characters met with Falkor, the luckdragon (AKA Big flying dog, or lion, if you read the book), and started flying with him. Now it turns out this is also a game, and I was suddenly controlling Falkor and friends as they flew around a canyon. The camera was fixed behind them, and I'd steer him around.

Some time after this, another flying sequence started. Strangely, though, this one was sponsored by McDonald's, so while we were on the same canyon, Falkor had been exchanged for a giant flying burger, and at the end of the canyon was a massive billboard for McDonald's.
