I dreamed I was in my room. It was around 3 in the morning. Apparently I hadn't even slept yet. I realize that I had to be up around 7 for work, so I decide to go to bed to grab the few hours of sleep I could still get. Before I go, though, I notice there's light coming out from behind my curtains. I think to myself that, well, since the sun's already coming up, I might as well take a look at the sunrise before finally going to bed. I pull the corner of the curtain and peek outside. IRL, I'd see my balcony, yard, then the street and the other houses. Instead, I saw sea for as long as my sight could reach. To the far right was a strip of land with buildings. The sky was blue and the sun was rising. The ocean looked beautiful.

Instead of questioning how the hell I could see the sea from here, I took the less obvious path. "Wait... it's three in the morning. The sun's not supposed to be up yet." I didn't get the lucidity cue, though - the sky began to darken and suddenly it was nighttime again (though the sea was still there). I figured I was just seeing things, out of sleep deprivation.
