I'm staying, at least for a while in the house of this Asian family. Apparently, they are related to G, as he seems to be around here too. These people are really strange, being socially awkward and sometimes randomly hostile. They also have the oddest sleeping habits, waking up and going to bed at strange times. I couldn't keep up with their strangeness, so I just tried to lay low, and it seemed to be working well. I remember vaguely walking through some rooms and seeing some strange things, too. There was this short Asian woman who was either mother or grandmother of some other person here. She would randomly appear naked, with her hands on her hips and would stare at us with a severe, angry look on her face. She wasn't exactly young, so it wasn't a pretty sight.
Anyway, at this point this Japanese guy showed up. He seemed to be a little older than me, but not much. Something between 23 and 26 years old. He was somewhat tall, and his hair was shaved really short, but other than that he looked pretty plain. The problem was that he didn't speak Portuguese at all. I had no idea how he showed up here, and since he was kinda confused and desperate I don't think I'd get a proper answer. The guy had a room of his own, but his impossibility to communicate was making him desperate. At first, I didn't know he was around, so it was a surprise when I met him. He spoke Japanese quite fast, sometimes jumbling the words, so I had trouble understanding him. I told him, in Japanese, that I spoke his language and could help him. He seemed grateful, but still a little helpless as I couldn't express myself fully, and couldn't understand most of what he said.
At some point, we engage in the following dialog (or at least something similar to it).
Japanese Guy: Ringo... Appu ga aru no ka? ("Ringo = Apple". "Apple... Are there any 'Appu' here?"
Me: Nani? ("What?")
JG: *desperate* APPU?! APPU GA ARU NO? ("Appu?! Are there any Appu?!")
Me: Huh?!
JG: APPURU!?
Me: OH, you mean Apple.
(I have no idea why he thought it would be better to say "Apple", rather than "Ringo" - pronounced reengoh) We continued talking and I figured he was starving, and since apparently we could take the food we wanted here, while we were staying, he was craving apples. I lead him to the kitchen. On the way, the Asian woman shows up again naked and does the "hands-on-hips-angry-stare" thing to him. From the look on his face, it looked like he was scarred for life. We walk into the kitchen, where we find a multitude of food, at least two refrigerators and several crates and tupperwares. The place looks like the kitchen from A's (mom's old friend) house.
I seemed to be quite familiar with this place. I kept finding apple-related items, but never apples. Finally, I settled for a tupperware filled with sliced apples, and handed it over to the Japanese Guy. He seemed worried that they might have gone bad, since they weren't in the fridge. Still, I assured him it was okay. He seemed a little less desperate.

I like this dream.
Eu gosto de este sonho :) If that's how I say it in Portugese?
Ever since I've been learning Spanish I've found that I've been dreaming in Spanish more often. This theme of misunderstanding is one I can relate to.
Are you going to visit Japan some day?
