I'm outside a house, waiting on a line, along with other people. All here are interesting, unique guys and girls around my age. We talk briefly, and they all seem really nice. I could see myself turning into their friends. Most interesting, though, is a girl I meet. She had really pale screen, black hair and blue eyes. She had a delicate face and talked softly. Something seemed odd about her, as if she was always daydreaming. She'd stare vaguely at things and people, even when talking. The way she always seemed distant was a little unnerving, but still I was attracted to her, and she seemed to like me as well.

We seemed to fall in love. When we finally got into the place, we went somewhere where we could be alone and made out. She then revealed the truth to me - she wasn't exactly a normal human girl. She was that place we were in. This way, she wasn't "normal" (I suspected that explained why she stared vaguely at people), and that allowed her to do certain things. We were in a closet or something similar, and I laid on the floor on top of her. Since she was that place, she could meddle with its form. This way, we "sunk" together into the floor, to a place where we wouldn't be found.

It was another day then, and again I was at the line outside, talking to the friendly people, who I now knew better. I couldn't find the girl, though. It gets vaguer from this point on, but I soon found that since she was this place, she couldn't move away from it in her human form.
