I was in this house full of people, wandering around the rooms busy with several things I had to do. At some point, I head into a kitchen where everyone's working busily, without giving me attention - that is, everyone except M. IRL, she had worked as a helper at home when I was a kid. She was a really nice person, kind and caring, but unfortunately she died of cancer. In the dream, I was surprised that she was there, and at first I didn't realize she couldn't possibly be there. She was sitting on a chair next to a wall, eyeing me. I approach her and she speaks with a loud, violent tone. "DId you know?" She says, as if she was shouting an insult. "Jesus Christ's son was called [complex, multi-worded ancient sounding name]" I'm puzzled at that. I then realize that she was actually dead, and couldn't be there.

She aggressively begins to list demon names. Apparently I either realized or she told me, but somehow I was sure those were demon names, even though I never heard them before. They weren't Bible names like Abaddon - rather, all of them sounded like names from an ancient language, though sometimes they reminded me of Arabian words. I realized, also, that it really wasn't M., but rather a demon that had taken over her appearance. He (and I was sure it was a male demon) no longer continued the charade, finally ordering me to go and do his bidding. It involved a series of tasks (recurring DS) which would benefit him. If I refused, he said, consequences would be dire. I woke up, horrified. I took my time and went to bed again.

The dream continued in a confusing fashion. I went through a series of tasks, but they were the opposite of the Demon's bidding. I was planning to foil his scheme, all while still fearing his reprisal. Finally, when all was done, the Demon appears. He reveals to me that he had actually tricked me. He knew I would never obey him, so he manipulated me into doing the opposite of his order. I had helped him, and now it was too late.
