Into the Control Farm

The first thing I remember is heading somewhere by car. Apparently, I either didn't know or it wasn't mentioned where I was headed. I seem to be driving my car (a SUV). We drive onto an elevated highway of some sort, and at some point the path splits up - we can go up, down, or straight. Apparently, we were supposed to go up, so we do. Strangely, the road was broken off right ahead. We stop the car and get out. Surprisingly, there's a lot of people with me. I remember my parents and a few others right now. We head on on foot and there is a narrow, small broken path that we could go through if we wanted - it seemed to go on ahead on the way we were supposed to, but we don't, as that would mean abandoning the car. We head back to it and continue through a detour.

Some time later, we have just arrived in an underground area which has also several broken concrete parts, reminding me of the highway. We all get out of the car, and along with the others there's suddenly 15-20 girls, all around my age, and most really beautiful. We have to get on a higher part of the place, but the ramp leading to it is broken, somehow. Most girls have no problem climbing, but there's this girl with black hair in a braid and glasses (she might have been Asian too, but I'm not 100% sure now), who couldn't do it. I helped her up, possibly carrying her. Now, were on some kind of Anime convention, which is apparently the place we were headed to before. Most people who were with me are suddenly gone, and I'm standing by this small stand which some friends (DCs) took care of. Most of us, me included, were cosplaying. I seemed to have a wig and fake blue cat ears on, as well as some kind of shoes that simulated cat feet.

I'm not sure what was going on, but at some point I step on some slimy stuff, apparently paint, and have to get it off the cat shoes. Luckily for me, it washes off quite easily and I don't get my feet dirty or wet. I'm having some kind of trouble, or feeling bad, not sure. T. is around, she approaches and we begin to talk. I'm telling her about my problem, but it seems I don't want others to know. She's understanding, and for some reason I'm incredibly attracted to her. Others approach and we stop talking - I really didn't want them to hear. We talk for a little and head upstairs (we still were in a partially underground area). It turns out this place we were, from outside, looked like a house, but the only entrance was a small mushroom. It's kinda strange to explain, but picture a cartoonish mushroom made of cloth, with a face. When you were heading out, it made no difference, but to get in you had to reach down the mushroom and pull the mouth open. It would stay on the floor, but the mouth would open up (imagine it was made of cloth, with some kind of elastic holding the mouth down) wide and let you down the staircase that was hidden by it.

It turns out the place the mushroom/convention was in was some kind of farm or closed community - there were several houses in a green area, where many people lived. Now, this next part may be possibly misplaced, but since it's the only part it seems to make sense to me, I suppose it is here. I head up to a small shopping mall that existed in the place and join my father and uncle (his brother) as we take a walk around it. Suddenly, the shoppers start closing up and leaving, as well as the other people walking in it. We are left alone, with all the place still open. Confused, we decide to close up whatever shops we can, turn off the lights and leave. We keep on doing it. When we're almost done, I walk up to this wide window by the entrance. Hanging on a wall nearby is a television. I start paying attention to it.

There is a doctor on the screen, speaking. Beside her is my brother. He has a red scar of some sort on the right side of his face, it looks like he had been burnt badly. The doctor is saying about how he had this rare disease. The cure, apparently, was some kind of medicine that was called "Bohrium something-something" ("Something-something de Bório", in Portuguese. I forgot what the first word or words were). She advised, there was a risk - he could lose up to two fingers on the process, still it was the only thing that could be done. She starts smearing this beige-white cream on his face and it seems to liquefy and turn into a cream, before effectively melting. I found it odd and felt bad for him, but didn't stop to think about how bizarre it actually was. We leave.

I head on back to the mushroom house and open it. It now has changed, and is actually some sort of house - and it was on the yard of another house. I enter and meet T. again. We chat and play videogames - she doesn't play, but keeps watching and smiles. She seems nice, but now that I think about it it wasn't exactly like her. I still seem to be quite attracted to her. At some point, her cellphone rings and she beings to talk with someone who seems to be a guy. I'm bothered by it and angry that she's giving attention to another guy (what the heck was this o_o I'm not like that) and leave. I'm walking around the street, when I notice some monkeys on a nearby wall. They are small monkeys, not like chimps, and they seem somehow a little robotic, though still as quick and nimble as normal monkeys.

There are 4-5 next to each other. One of them sees me and beings to yell and jump. I don't understand why. I notice there is a policeman across the street. He looked like a character out of a cartoon, though he was real-looking. He was short and stout, his skin was gray (he looked like some sort of goblin), his ears were pointy, his nose was huge and he wore a blue policeman outfit with an oversized hat. He was scowling and staring at me. Suddenly, I'm worried - I realize that this place, the farm or whatever it was, was a deeply controlled community. You could do no wrong at all, or you were in deep trouble. And sometimes, "wrong" was simple, and even stupid things - 1984 style. The policeman called me. Uh-oh. He asked me if I had left home with my [word] (it was an uncommon, strange word). I tell him that, no, I had it, and that I was just going back to my house.

Stammering, I start walking back slowly. He wasn't buying it. I insist and walk faster towards the house by the mushroom (apparently, that was my house) and he lets me go. I figured the monkeys had something to do with it, as the guard seemed to pay attention to them. As I'm getting to the house, I realize - the strange thing he wanted me to use were some silver rings. I had 4 rings on my right hand - there were 4 quiet monkeys and 1 angry one. I enter the house and find the remaining ring. The monkeys had followed me in, but I figured that since I was indoors, I could take my time to test it out. I take out a ring, a monkey gets angry. I take another ring, another monkey does too. Apparently, the monkeys were some sort of alarm system - everyone had to use the rings, or else the monkeys would scream at them to let the guards know, and they would be arrested, or worse. I put on all the rings and leave.

The guard was checking out the mushroom house when I got back outside. Uh-oh... I knew that T. would be in trouble if he found her, so I had to stall him and get her out somehow. A policewoman - also cartoonish, with bushy hair spiked around, a huge nose and lips and a motorcycle helmet covering her eyes joined him on the inspection. I tried to fool them but eventually I had to open up the mushroom house and show them in. Luckily for me, T. wasn't around anymore, so she wouldn't be in trouble. Still, something goes awry - they start to suspect her, even though she wasn't around. I'm not sure what was the reason, but I start making up excuses to try and help her.

One of the excuses, for some reason, was about us dating. Apparently, if we were dating, she wouldn't be in trouble. I then end up saying we were a "super couple" (no idea what this ridiculous phrase was supposed to imply). "A WHAT?!" says T., suddenly arriving behind me. I turn around and I'm baffled. She's as stunning as she is angry. Her hair is, for some reason, tied on dozens of thin deadlocks (or something similar). She's also wearing a dress and she seems much more fierce, possibly because of the way she's staring angrily at me. "No, wait, I can explain." She wouldn't hear it. She was angry I lied to others and pretended we were dating. She angrily leaves, and I follow behind, trying to stop her and tell her I did it to help.
