I'm somehow reliving the past. Apparently, I had found out a way to repeat things that happened to me in the past and try to get a different outcome. I'm friends with the characters from The Big Bang Theory (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Big_Bang_Theory) TV series. At the time, Sheldon and Leonard barely knew Penny, and she wasn't as weirded out by their "geekness" as in TV. The four of us were headed to a party, so we left the building and went on foot down a sloped street. I knew that I had lived a considerable time after this, and now since I had life experience I could talk to Penny easily, and expected to ask her out (if not make out) by the end of the night.

We were talking and it was all fun as we headed down the street. Leonard and Sheldon just followed somewhat quietly. We arrived on the party, or at least near it. It was an outdoors place where a bunch of people were talking and having fun. Suddenly, two guys appear on a nearby roof and say or do something menacing. I had to stop them! I notice Penny's got a bow and arrow set. I ask her for them and take aim. One of the guys is somehow flying chest-first right towards us. When he's barely a feet away, I shoot the arrow. It wasn't pointed - it had a hard, flat ending, but the blow clearly surprised him, stopped his flight and sent him backwards. I had saved the day!

Penny was glad and thankful. We both stood a little awkwardly as she said we could start dating, if I wanted. I was surprised. Really? She really meant it? I figure I kind of liked her, so it could work out. She said yes. So I said yes. The dream changed completely then. I was in a room with Leonard and Sheldon, removing a helmet, and to my RL horror I was Howard Wollowitz. It turns out the whole thing was a computer simulation. Nothing happened. Penny and I weren't going to start dating. Sigh.
