I'm playing Bayonetta. Actually, it's hard to say if I was actually playing or just watching a scene involving Bayonetta, though some of my own reasoning was involved in her actions (I was INTO the scene, no controller or anything, but I wasn't directly "being" her). Also, it was unlike any scene in her game. She was walking along a deserted barren area. The sky is overcast, but strangely it has an dark, ominous beige, or yellowed tone. Around the area is what seems to be a canyon of dark stone. The ground itself is dark, and apparently there isn't anything here for miles and miles. That is, except the modern-looking building in the middle of the canyon.
It was a strange building, unlike any I'd ever seen. It was made mostly of golden metal beams, and the walls, ceiling and floor were made of a highly resistant golden glass. It was translucent, but it would shine like gold. "We" walked along it, entered it at some point and solved some puzzles and beat some enemies, but it's mostly vague. At some point, we were outside it, and had to find a way into a specific chamber, which we could see from the top of the building: it had a large exquisite golden door that opened up in a complex way, right next to it being a floating item which I recognized as a save point. The door was currently locked, so we had to find an alternate way in.

your modern building reminds me of a dream i had a couple years ago(cant find it anywhere so i must not have wrote it down).
im lucid and i find myself on mars. im looking at this huge mountain that is see through and i see a huge golden building that is made up of huge glass windows and metal framing. i hear a voice over telling me that the mountain is an illusion/holograph to keep hidden from us. as i hear that the illusion goes away and i no longer see the faint hazy outline of the hologram.
as im flying around the building and looking at it, i see thats its a huge self contained city. i can see long horizontal tubes and vehicles flying through them that must be highways. i also see very tall vertical shafts of what i take for elevators.
*dream shifts*
im going up one of the elevators. it stops at a point and i get out. im in a hallway and i see a open door down the way a bit so i make my way there. inside the room are a bunch of human and non human looking entities sitting around a table playing some sort of card/board game. a few people look up and notice me but they go back to their game. a fight breaks out over some rule or rules between two of them. the energy in the room is overwhelming. they are screaming at each other each making their case without holding back any of their energy, theyre putting it all into it. nobody else makes a move to stop them, they allow the argument to take its course.
as its going on im thinking that if this was back on earth, somebody wouldve been beaten up or shot by now with how heated the screaming is. they finally come to some sort of agreement and get back to the game. neither of them is holding any resentment towards the other or remorse at themselves because they let it all out of them in that exchange. i think how much of a better place earth would be if wed allow ourselves to do that.
EOD
buidling sounds familiar, ground was that dark rust color and the sky had a yellowish tinge to it i assume from the dust in the air.
