in this dream i seen a girl who lived with me growing up for the first time in a long time we wereo n rollarcoasters and looking at old videos of us it was really strange to me and i was highly upset when i awoke i feel i have become lucid before but never actually sustained it

This dream reminds me of a time a few years ago, when I had a number of dreams about "rollercoasters". Looking back I can see that it was an emotionally turbulent part of my life.
If it were my dream,
might be my "self's" way of letting me know that I might be in a stage of life where I'm experiencing some "ups" and "downs" but not to stress too much about it. Alternatively, it might have just been a good lead-in to a lucid dream (riding on trains, cars, in extreme or bizarre ways has been a phase-in effect for lucid dreams for me before).

if this may have been something I have dreamed; rollercoasters represent to me the ups and downs of realationships, the emotions and the ebbs and flows of the good times and the not so good times. old vidio's represent the past and where I was in such relationships and what i am like now in comparison.
