I'm standing near the tip of a hill. Above me stands an older woman, of an appearance I can not exactly recall. The emphasis is on what she has to say.

She stands above me, indicating what looks like a silver central circle, with 'petals' around the outside (maybe 8 or so?). It's small, and seems to magnify the light into one place.

She is telling me about the people of a part of South America - the Inca? the people of Peru? Ecuador? I'm not exactly certain.

She tells me a word from their language, with the fluency of a native speaker.

"What the ..... call, making the most of the 'time when we are are closest to the beast'"

I know that is telling me about taking time each day, to honour the sun - that the time when the sun is rising is the optimum.

This brings out unexpected emotion in me. My eyes are brought to focus on the symbol she holds/displays (that magnifies the sun's light), and tears start to well within me. I feel all of a sudden, a deep reverence for life, that I've been forgetting these practises - forgetting to honour this real way of living.

Sadness, and more tears follow.

"You don't have to be proud" she urges...

"I don't care how proud you are".. [the important thing is that you do it]

"Even on those day's only a little sunlight" she continues (as though acquainted with the weather here in Melbourne right now,

"stil try, it will bring happiness."
