Walking like a Tiger

I become conscious/lucid in what seems like a large hallway.

I recall meeting with my sister and perhaps my mum. There are other people here. There is a feeling of reunion / discovery. Something very special.

Later, I am walking, gradually becoming lucid. It feels like it's snowing outside. The weather is wintry, but I feel rugged up. Maybe I'm wearing a jacket, nice gloves, or something of this kind.

I'm walking along along a path. Everything is very lucid now. I feel like I have been "awake" for quite some time. I am remarking to myself about this fact. Wow! What a good dream.

As I walk on, something comes over me. I know that I'm headed towards the beach. I feel that. It's like I'm approaching a cliff path. I have the sense of being with friends, or maybe my family still.

Either way, I begin to transform. I start to become one of the big cats - a tiger, I think. I feel the transformation in my body - paws first. The steps of this big animal begin to take over - leading the way, instead of my human feet.

I'm just getting into the transformation when I start to wake.

Feelings:
I quite liked the feeling of this dream. It was cool being a tiger or whatever it is I was (I went to sleep again afterwards, so some details are a little vague).
Reality Check:
Well there are two main aspects of this dream that I associate with. My little sister (who was in the dream) is living in the U.K. at the moment, and my mum is going to visit her in August. It makes me think of Europe; because we don't have snow here in Australia, and I have been considering going over there. The part where I transformed into a tiger was also really interesting. Moving like a tiger was a good feeling.
Knowing More:
I'm not sure if there's anything particular I want to know about this dream, but I could be surprised ...

You are aware that the Chinese New Year is the Year of the Iron Tiger?

iiwmd, morphing into a tiger, cat, is tuning in more to my feline senses, intuition, and bypassing my thinking mind altogether.  Might mean time for inspiration and creativity, walking on the beach, ocean symbolizing the subconscious, deeper emotions, as well as the sister.  What's she studying?

hey Ron.

Actually I didn't know that.

I like your perspective on the significance of the tiger; it conjures up some of the feelings of what it was like to walk like the tiger.

I think there's also something about patience and finding the right moment that's implicit in the tiger's gait.

My sister's finished studying now but she was studying textile design - creating patterns and designs basically.

Wooow, awesome!

Anyway, a lot of references to family, it seems. Is it me or for your family is directly related to safety?

Do you think the beach was directly related to the transformation?

Hey Rodrigo.

Thanks for the feedback! Yeh there are actually alot of references to family here. I guess family is connected with safety for me. I know I have a family I can rely on.

It's interesting also - because at this particular point in time, my dad is overseas for three months, and my little sister is also away (it will be a year, come September), so it's only me, my older sister, and my mum here in Melbourne. It's not so bad :) but it's different from normal.

Yeh the beach was interesting. I think it was related to the transformation - could be connected with Sea Life too (I often think this when I have sea dreams ;))

I enjoy reading this tranformative dream of yours. I wonder if the TIGER could be a messenger or totem knowledge for you. Have you read about the traits of the tiger?
