Underwater diving
I become lucid at the beach. Skimming rocks, or doing something similar. I'm looking out to the sea, and am not sure what to do now.
I decide to venture out into the waves, and see what happens. I walk on through the water, and find myself getting deeper and deeper. It's night time, and it makes me just a teeny bit nervous. Sure, I'm lucid and whatever, but I'm still conscious of everything as I continue.
Soon enough, I'm down at the base of the waters - my body hovering just above the sand underneath. I don't get a clear picture. It's a little murky under there, and I can feel the touch of the rocks and stones underneath. They're a little slippery, slimy even. I become just that teeny bit more nervous.
What if something were to come out of the water? What would I do next?
I'm
quite conscious that just having these fears might shape the future of
the dream, and that's pretty much what happens. I somehow become caught
up in some strange chase - in which an Asian man is chasing me with a
knife or something dangerous. As you can imagine it's quite surreal -
the scene shifting from one where I'm underwater, to one where I"m
gradually exiting out through a cavern/tunnel, and up into normal air.
Along
the way, I see a girl, just standing there. I recall this, because at
some point I say to her "You know, you're very pretty" and then simply
move on. I can see how she responds warmly to the compliment. I feel
good about that, but keep to my directive.
I continue running. I'm not sure if I know why. Probably still scared of what was going to happen to me. Eventually I wake.
Comments: I cut off a bit off this dream. Didn't hold much energy for me, since it was basically a continuation of the chase - with no great logic involved. The main bit I liked about this dream was that I got to go underwater, and even though I got a little nervous down there, it was nice to just go out into it and see what took place.

Another tid-bit of info your dream shared at the end is the woman/girl, your comment as you tell her she is beautiful. "You are telling yourslef to know that and what she knows, that she is beautiful, loving, and this is all coming from the heart chakra, or energy center of in love; which removes the fears or dangers".
She, the beautiful, loving energy of the heart chakra is also the balancing entrance or door into our loving universal insights, dreams, realities. Wow, how great is this, Nick.

The skipping of the stones on the water are a great place to start, how ones intended actions influence emotions and result in and of outcomes.
As feeling the energies of the waters, one chooses to enter. Under the water ones visions is obscure from clearly seeing, so rely on feelings within the world of waters, touch in particular. The slimy rocks have algy or vegitation, intellectually knowing there for within these water you are not alone. It being dark and mucky under the water suggests to me the unknown, and because of this unknown and the slimy rocks it shares the posibility of danger or not knowing what is to come in th efuture before you.
The lucid awareness of knowing these emotions and feelings in attitude create the conceivable perceptions to create these fear to waken up and become alive in your dream/awake awareness; shows the shadow of where I may choose to do more work at living in a trust that the universe has plenty of love and light to chase away ones fears, or attract those fears to you when we foreget to light ourselves up and realise our duality and what or how we wish to react, or rather respond using our entirity of ourselves and knowing the unified energy of all is indeed one.
Could help understand reasonible thoughts concerning an upcoming trip to the Mayan's, even if it is just subtle. It may indicate becoming one with the energy and merging, discovering the light and the shadows, the learning and developement.
