I'm looking at a map. It's of Tasmania.
I think of the trip that I'll be taking there in two weeks time. It seems here on this map is a place we'll be staying.
It looks like the north-west of Tasmania, somewhere on the coast. What's different is that it's actually a snow-capped mountain. I know this - it's like I'm looking at the map through Google Maps. I can zoom in and actually see the snow, not close enough to see the building itself, but enough to get some sense of the place.
I quite like the view, but am thinking that I didn't realise there'd be snow here. Oh well! I guess it's much closer to Antarctica than Melbourne is - it seems to make sense.
Lightning Dreamwork
Enthusiastic, a little unprepared
I am going on a two-week bike ride around Tasmania over the school holidays (so about two weeks time). I have never been to Tasmania, the only state in Australia that's not part of the mainland, so I am looking forward to it. Lots of beautiful forests and so forth, from what I gather. I think it's pretty unlikely I'll be seeing snow there, but perhaps this dream is a hint that it might get colder there than I imagined.
