I'm with my mum. We seem to be doing something, not sure what. In the midst of conversation, she recounts to me:

"I have a feeling I crossed the road," I told my mum

(... I think)

At the time I find it hilarious. Could anyone be any less certain?

I joke to her that it would it make a great children's book. I can imagine the character vaguely declaring all these events that happened to him (I have a feeling I've seen this movie, I have a feeling I read that book, etc) to a mum who may or may not have actually heard what he has to say..
