I'm at the front of my old family home, down near the bottom of the driveway, to the green, grassy area on it's right.

My friend Andrew has put up a tent. It's looking great. I'm feeling the foundation is strong, that it's going to be comfortable to stay here. There's only one thing though, I'm thinking that it would be even better if there were a waterproof cover over the tent. I'm already picturing it in my head, however I'm not sure how he'll respond. He might think it's unnecessary. Yet when I mention it, he's totally cool with the idea. Awesome. I know it'll be be better that way.

He seems to want my attention, pointing me to look at something else he's been working on. It's a gigantic cushion like thing planted on the ground, only this cushion is in the form of a Medicine Wheel. Thick lines of rich colours like burgundy reds and violets extend out in each direction, a small open circle at the center, and a thick round line along the edge of the wheel. I look over at it, admiring the view with some curiousity.

Lightning Dreamwork

Reality Check:

Cushion - My first association with the cushion is in the context of the classroom in which I teach. Because we only have 4 cushions to share on the floor, the person who is doing their 'Chatterbox' (spoken performance to the class) on a particular day, gets to sit on a cushion. Therefore I see the cushion in both the sense of 'somewhere to sit' and also as linked to performing/sharing a presentation, personal work.

Medicine Wheel - I see the Medicine Wheel, as being a place/way of spiritual growth. To sit at the center, of that wheel, I feel, reflects coming to a place of balance in your life.

Honouring the Dream:

Find a comfy place at the center of the wheel.
