I am outside. I hear the sound ‘ré’ out loud - somewhere in my environment.

I take it as a cue, and use it as a chance to show off my gradual Spanish development (and the future tense in particular).

“Hablaré” (I will speak)

Another guy walking around hears me, and shouts back

“Espero” (I hope)
