Introduction: After my previous dream of the night - "The Space Age", I decided I wanted to go in the opposite direction. Discover what it is that grounds me in my dreaming travels. The dream that follows took place in the same location twice, so I've only included the second part.

I become lucid, again. I'm in a house. I realise it's the same one as before. Wow. That's interesting. It must be connected to my original intention. To find somewhere or something that grounds me.

I walk about some more this time. I like the space of this house. It's not too big, but it is nicely furnished. A single-storey building. Polished wooden floorboards throughout most of it, and generally speaking wood is a dominant theme of the design.

However, looking in other rooms, I notice that the floor is different. It's a tiled floor - with a black and white checkerboard design. I notice how calm I feel here - I can absorb the scene slowly and with patience - not like some lucid dreams where my vision begins to blur, etc. I decide to wake up.
