In a van with an old partners family, the old partner was not present, just his cousin,wife and myself.
I walk with Dick and Mary through mudy grounds that are hardend. I discover by talking with Dicks friend in a trailor that he has cancer, and has not told his wife. Dick's friend hasd recovered from cancer and now takes one day at a time. I learn my wallet is gone and that Dick was unimpressed that I discovered his secret. I learn to trust myself and am lead to the exact man that had my wallet. I do not complain about the missing money and cards. And when I recover the wallet from the drunken man, there is my health card, bank card and another card that I do not remember.
People continue to party under this tent and music continues to play.

if it were my dream, the symbol of overcoming cancer is a big thing. The man obviously has gone through a major life ordeal, so my losing my wallet is rather small on his lists of concerns. It is major for me, but I just except it on his level. The drunk might symbolize indolence, not caring or feelings of resignation. Am I living my life through other people's exspectations?
