SIMPLIFYING A COMPLEX EQUATION
I'm at the northern edge of the basketball court at the primary school I teach it. I'm with R - a fellow teacher, who I do alot of my planning with.

At the other end of the court, I can see a friend of mine 'B'. There's a big board up. He's working on an equation that looks a little like this:

= (F + y) (x + Z)
  -----------------
         A + b

It seems kinda cool to see him there. I figure this complicated problem must have something to do with his profession (he's an industrial chemist, no less). Then (in a manner reminescent of my days studying maths at University) I see him taking out common factors, changing the order of the brackets - in short, simplifying the equation.

And all of a sudden it's solved. My friend R gives me a friendly nudge, and moves her eyes in the direction of the board.

It now reads "2025" in much larger writing.

"So what are you going be?" she asks, grinning:

I stop for a moment..

"I'm going to be a writer"

She nods, as though out of respect for the many wanna-be writers..

"No", I say, "I'm going to write about dreams", divulging that dreaming is actually one of my personal passions.

"Wow. You should do that... I wanna learn how to dream!"

Rain of Glass

Couple of nights ago it was raining glass- I was watching it pelt down in an odd 45 degree angle, a very localised shower right outside my window. I thought it was weird, but then decided not to spend anymore time wondering about it and went back to work.

Will the dream teams stay private? who will be able to view the content?

Great thanks babelfish!

I'll see you in the team. Yes the teams will remain private.

FORUM POSTS

All posts to our team forum 'Echo Force' are not available to anyone but current members of the dream team.

DREAM SHARING PRIVACY

You have three choices for whom to share a dream with:

1. You can make your dream completely private (by clicking the private tickbox when you write a dream). This means that you are the only person able to read your dream on the site.

2. You can make your dream available only to current members of your team, by choosing "Echo Force" as the AUDIENCE for your dream.

3. You can make your dream available to all members of the forum, by choosing 'Public' as the AUDIENCE for your dream.

Does this help clarify things for you?

Thanks, Nick

Red Moon Sign

I'm at a beach with A, it is night time.  Tons of people that we know are also there.  We are sitting in a small restaurant, that appears to be going out of business.  They can only afford to have two tables.  One table has a yellow table cover and the other has a blue and white checker pattern. (This seems important to me in the dream).

A lady comes up to the table and asks for our names.  For some reason we have to lie.

I am wearing earings made out of limes and a necklace made out of pineapple. I feel very nervous.  I keep expecting A to ask me a question, to which I do not know the answer.

*Jump*

We are walking on the beach and I'm looking at the sky.  The moon appears a lot bigger than normal and has a red circle at the top.  I look again, and see that the moon is now completely red.  This calms me down a lot, and suddenly I feel like I already know the answer to the question, although I have no idea what the question is yet.

Befriending A Bird:

Sitting on my sofa, the window is open. Outside there is this medium size bird. I think to myself how it would be great to have a bird to pet and to touch. making some sounds and thinking that it would be wonderful for this bird to come to me. The white partridge like bird walks through the window and onto the sofa where I sit. I reach out almost beyond belief and touch it, pet the whitish bird. Then actually hold it, I can feel its heat from its body, its weight and as it breaths I think wow!

Somehow it is in a shiny steel cage, I think I need to protect this bird. Although the cage does not full become assembled and I realize it does not need to be caged. The bird does not seem to bother one way or another it is just being. I stop trying to assemble the bird cage and realize its good to just have this wonderful bird as it is, and , love it for what it is and how it is.

EOD.

Thank you; I look forward to having good dreams with you all too.

Best Regards,

John.

My Brother.    Sun, Sep 21, 2008
Clarity 4/5 Lucidity 0/5

The earliest I remember in this dream, my grandma had some glass contraption with a jar inside containing a thermomiter suspended by a pipe in her bathroom.  I had undone it, and was trying to fix it.  I finally screwed it back onto the fixture the right way, and looking at it I thought there might be spiders on it, but they were only screws. *skip*  Now I am in my old bedroom, sitting on my bed, and there were two guys that were slightly older than me at my computer desk, one sitting down, who I didn't clearly see, and one standing up, who was slightly taller than I am, wearing a blue and red button down shirt with jeans, and is skinny with black hair.  The one standing up was explaining something to us, I thought it was about HIV when I woke up, but it had something to do with a spider bite on the neck. I remember calling him over (at this point I know he's my older brother) and I don't clearly remember what happened next, but at the end of the dream, he was laying on the bed (for a shirt he only had a white undershirt on now) and I was laying with my head on his chest as we fell asleep.

As a note: I was the first born from my parents.

As an aditional note: I do remember listening to some album from a Dream TV series in this dream that sparked a later dream.

Ok, good thing I can mark dreams as favourites in my DJ, so I didn't have to go through all of them:

The coughing dog
I'm on some mission and there're different people on my team. They keep dying all the time and new group members keep joining so that there's always some people around.
I don't remember much of the beginning, but at some point I'm without any other people on my team and I'm standing in the middle of some highway. There's been a car accident and about 4-5 cars are just standing/lying around. Other cars however just keep driving by and the people just ignore the whole thing.
I see a couple of people and somehow know that they are going to be in my team next. There are two women, some other people (don't really remember), and what looks like a German Shephard (it's black and brown and it's totally cute :D). Suddenly one of them cars that are still driving by hits the dog and it's thrown to the side of the highway. I run towards it as fast as I can, because I somehow know that the mission will fail if it dies.
All of us try to get as close to the dog as we can when it starts coughing while trying to talk. I can't really understand what it said so I ask if it was some word (don't remember which word I asked). The dog shakes his head no and coughs again. This time I can make out a word: Lucid. Again I ask if it's the right word and it nods.
Happily I tell everybody: "It's a dream, so it don't matter if that dog dies!"
I want to get away from the highway, so I grow me some wings and fly up in the sky until the highway's gone. Then I try to figure out what to do and remember that my lil sister went through a whole in the earth in her last dream (I think she came out in China :D).
If she can do this, I can do so too, I think. I don't feel like digging a whole or thinking up one thoug, so I just dive head first into earth. It feels kinda like a gas/fluid like sort of thing.
On the other side there's a field full of flowers and I'm fixing to take a look at this new enviroment, but I suddenly wake up.

Physics Major but have a strong interest in Metaphysics as well 6. Do you currently record your dreams? I haven't in a while, but am going to start again 7. Have you ever had a lucid dream? Yes, but always a low-level 8. What would you like to achieve by joining a dream team? Keep me up with my dream journal, learn how to stabilize my dreams, ect 9. How do you feel about joining a dream team? I'm kinda excited 10. Please share a single dream of yours (with a title) by way of introduction. First lucid I was playing tag with my brothers in a huge mansion, with winding hallways like the Bellagio hotel in Vegas. My brothers were younger than in real life. I was younger as well. I suddenly became lucid, knowing I was not a child anymore. I became really excited and shouted to my brother "Hey, were dreaming. We can bounce of the floors if we want to " (I don't know why I would think to say that). We then continued chasing each other, but this time bounce ping off the floors, walls, and ceiling like trampolines, getting faster and faster. Eventually I realized I should be making better use of this LD and go exploring the dreamworld. The thought excited me so much I woke up.
